I was given the opportunity to create the Wave character for Student Affairs University Health Services during my internship at the department of Student Affairs Communications and Marketing.
I was tasked to create this character to educate students about the health insurance requirement. Students could either enroll or waive their insurance, which is where the initial idea for the wave character sprouted from. The idea was given to me and I created samples for the wave character and ended with the wave/waive character shown below.
